Waves PRTAXIS Overview
Designed and tuned to run Waves audio applications in with optimal efficiency and worry-free stability, Waves Axis Proton is a compact, rack-mountable computer that gives demanding engineers the performance they need for high-profile live stage and studio environments running up to 16 stereo channels. It comes pre-loaded with Windows 10, Waves Central, eMotion LV1, and all Waves plug-ins, ready for activation via separately available licenses.
Axis Proton boasts a robust quad-core 1.5 GHz Intel Celeron processor and 4GB of DDR4 RAM to keep your apps and effects running smoothly. Internal storage is provided by a 128GB SSD. With an HDMI port and one DisplayPort output, Axis Proton can support up to two displays, so you what you need at the same time. Axis Proton’s ports�three USB Type-A, RJ45 Ethernet, and RJ45 SoundGrid�enable versatile connectivity without having to rely on additional hubs.
Optimized for Waves Audio Applications
Axis Proton is a custom-designed computer, optimized through meticulous selection of components to run Waves audio applications such as the 16-channel eMotion LV1 live mixer and SuperRack live plug-in rack. The half-rack 1 RU aluminum casing fits perfectly in a 1 RU rack shelf when paired with the SoundGrid Proton Server (available separately).
Rugged and Robust
Axis Proton physically rugged and operationally robust, and it perfectly conforms to the processing profile of Waves applications. Its small footprint lets you place it anywhere on your desk or next to a half-rack server on a rack shelf. It has ample USB and HDMI connectors, as well as two Ethernet ports, so you can connect all the devices you need to run a large show.
SoundGrid Connectivity
With its SoundGrid connectivity, Axis Proton can act as the “brain” of a SoundGrid system, seamlessly interfacing with SoundGrid I/O devices and servers. Designed to perform with maximum stability, Axis Proton is optimized for use in live setups of up to 16 stereo channels.
