PNY Technologies 240GB CS900 SATA III 2.5″ Internal SSD

Designed for media storage, use as a boot drive, or as a replacement for an existing drive, the 240GB CS900 SATA III 2.5″ Internal SSD from PNY Technologies allows users to store and access up to 240GB of data. It is equipped with a SATA III 6 Gb/s interface that is compatible with SATA II 3 Gb/s and fits into your system’s 2.5″ / 7mm drive bay, providing load and access times for files and programs that are faster than those of a traditional spinning hard drive. In terms of speed, this drive offers sequential write speeds of up to 500 MB/s and sequential read speeds of up to 535 MB/s via its Triple-Level Cell (TLC) NAND flash memory. In addition to its enhanced data transfer rates, this drive also offers a life expectancy of 2 million hours MTBF, TRIM support (OS dependent), and S.M.A.R.T. support.

With solid state drive technology you benefit from load and access times for your files and programs that are faster than a conventional 7200 rpm hard drive. As SSDs have no moving parts, they are also more durable than traditional hard drives and are better protected against damage from drops and bumps. PNY’s 240GB CS900 SATA III 2.5″ Internal SSD includes Acronis True Image HD 2017 data migration software, which allows data to be transferred from an existing drive to this PNY SSD. Supported operating systems include Windows, Mac, Linux, and Ubuntu. A 2.5mm spacer is also included, which allows this 7mm SSD to be used in 2.5″ / 9.5mm drive bays. Protection is provided by a limited 3-year warranty.
